This 8 Week competition in Upland California is fun and exciting where teams have the chance to climb the national ranks. They earn points weekly based on their order of finish and compete against other nationally-ranked competitors for a spot at Nationals! **Those competitors who have a robot kit already only need to pay the registration fee and do not need to repurchase a robot**
FAQ's
- Do we have to have a robot kit to participate? You do not need to buy a robot kit if you plan on renting out a kit every week. All teams have to have a robot kit to participate via purchase or weekly rental.
- It says we can add up to 2 additional Team Members, does that mean a friend or relative can participate? Yes friends or relatives can participate at no additional cost, but the robot kit and T-shirt is provided for the main child only. Additional Shirts and practice robot kits can be purchased on-site at an additional fee.
- Will there be some time to work with an instructor if my child needs help getting the robot working? Kids and thier parents should build and code the kit using the videos and online curricullum on the websites resources page. During the first preseason week USEL Staff will be onsite to help kids make sure thier robot is in working order. No formal class instruction will be given as this is designed as a work from home program.

This fee covers all 8 weeks AND includes a USEL SumoBot kit. Students must participate in a minimum of 6 events and finish in the Top 80 in the country to be eligible for USEL Nationals Championships in August 2022. Top Teams receive an invite to represent Team USA in Jamaica in July 2022.
